Our volunteers are working to clear the scene of a house fire on Fore Winds Hill in district 5.
We received a call to respond to a house struck by lightning at approximately 8:45 PM. First crews on scene reported fire in the rear of the structure and all occupants evacuated. Thankfully with the help of Catoosa County Fire Department and Chattanooga Fire Department crews made a quick stop. Damage estimated at $125,000.
Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department is providing standby coverage in our district while overhaul is completed.
