U.S. Representative Chuck Fleischmann of Tennessee's 3rd District issued a statement in response to President Donald J. Trump's Joint Address to Congress. This marked the first speech President Trump delivered to both Houses of Congress during his second term.

Fleischmann remarked, “Last night, America and the world heard President Trump’s bold America First Agenda to renew the American Dream across our nation." He highlighted the administration's swift actions within the initial months of Trump's second term aimed at revitalizing government operations for citizens, bolstering the economy, securing borders, and enhancing international respect for America.

The congressman also mentioned collaborative efforts between Congressional Conservatives and President Trump that have yielded significant outcomes. These include passing the Laken Riley Act, which equips law enforcement with enhanced tools for detaining and deporting criminal illegal aliens. Furthermore, groundwork has been laid to fulfill promises such as tax cuts for workers and families and ensuring no taxes on tips, Social Security benefits, or overtime pay.

Fleischmann added, “Last November, the American People voted overwhelmingly for real change in Washington and demanded an end to the status quo that for too long has failed to meet the needs of citizens." He expressed support for President Trump's vision aimed at enabling every American to pursue their dreams.
