Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Tuesday, November 1, 2022

Police assisted with a broken down vehicle in the intersection of Camp and Standifer Gap Roads. 

While conducting routine business checks officers located an unlocked door to a West District business. The building was checked but no record of a responsible person or owner could be found. 

A West District bank reported that an individual had cashed several fraudulent checks that had been forged and altered. 

Police were requested to verify a vehicle’s VIN number for a 1939 Plymouth in the East District. 

An officer assisted a set of parents who had come to city hall to file a report regarding their unruly child. The parents hope to use the report in juvenile court to get their child the help they need. 

A traffic stop in the 9100 block of Apison Pike led to the driver being charged with driving on a suspended license. 

A two vehicle crash was reported in the 9900 block of Apison Pike. There were no injuries. 

A Collegedale officer answered questions from a Southern Adventist University student about constituted harassment.

An officer assisted a broken down vehicle in the Four Corners intersection. 

An individual spoke with an officer at the Springhill Suites in the West District about someone allegedly placing an AirTag tracking device on their vehicle.

A Collegedale fugitive was transported from the Bradley County Jail to the Hamilton County Jail on a bond revocation warrant from an original charge of driving on a suspended license.
