Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Wednesday, October 19, 2022

A traffic stop in the 9300 block of Lee Highway led to the driver’s arrest for driving on a suspended license and for Collegedale warrants for failure to appear in court on a previous driving on suspended charge. 

A traffic stop in the 4900 block of McDonald Road resulted in the driver being charged with being in possession of illegal narcotics. 

A bonding company turned over a fugitive  with Collegedale warrants for failure to appear on an original driving on a suspended license charge. 

A Collegedale fugitive was booked on their  warrants for failure to appear on possession of illegal narcotics charges. 

A traffic stop in the 8600 block of Apison Pike led to the occupant being charged with possession of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. 

A Collegedale fugitive was taken into custody during court and booked on their warrant for failure to appear on a previous license required charge. 

Police were dispatched to check the well-being of individuals in an East District apartment after neighbors heard a woman screaming and a baby crying. Officers made contact and found no signs of distress. 

A West District resident reported that their former spouse was breaking a Colorado court order by making contact outside the restrictions of the order. 

Police responded to an aggravated domestic assault at the College Park Apartments in the West District involving a teenager and an adult family member. The Department of Children Services was notified and charges against the adult are pending.  

A fire alarm was activated at a West District assisted living facility. It was found to have been a system error.
