The next department in our series on department features is the East Ridge Community Center. The Center, a fixture in the city for almost 30 years, is a place where all ages can come for fun, fitness and play. The Center is located on Tombras Avenue beside East Ridge City Hall and is open 7 days a week. They offer free senior citizens programs throughout the week like chair aerobics, pickle ball and walking classes. Next door to the Community Center is our Pioneer Frontier playground and Splashpad. Kids of all ages and abilities can enjoy both features. Completed in 2022, both were funded by a Local Parks and Recreation Fund grant.
