Census Bureau: 79% of people in Hamilton County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 363,790 citizens living in Hamilton County in 2021, 79% were old enough to vote, equating to 287,473 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 137,504 were male, constituting 47.8%, and 149,969 were female, making up 52.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Hamilton County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.6%.
