The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team earned a 7-0 shutout over Presbyterian College in non-conference action on Sunday morning inside the Strang-Voges Tennis Center.
 
Following the win, Chattanooga improves to 5-1 on the season. Presbyterian falls to 2-7 overall on the year.
 
"The team performed well today," said head coach Chad Camper. "Presbyterian is a well-coached team with a lot of heart and I am proud of our fight on each court."
 
Chattanooga carried a 1-0 lead into singles play following a win at No. 1 doubles and a default win in the No. 3 pairing. From there, the Mocs swept all four singles matches as the Blue Hose carried just four available student-athletes.
 
Chattanooga (5-1) returns to action on Friday when the squad hosts Tennessee State at 6 p.m. ET at the Strang-Voges Tennis Center. Live stats will be available for the match.
