The 9th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs are doing something they haven't done since 2018…host the VMI Keydets. It's the second straight game this has happened in a way with the trip to ETSU for the exciting 24-16 Rail Rivalry triumph being the first trip to Johnson City since 2018.
It's press conference Tuesday with Coach Rusty Wright looking back on the off week's work and ahead to Saturday. He was followed by wide receiver Tyron Arnett and defensive back Kam Brown. The VMI contest if the first of six Southern Conference games in a row.
The Mocs are 4-1 overall, 2-0 in league play. That puts the squad in third place, a half-game behind Mercer and Samford at 3-0. The Keydets arrive at 1-4, 0-2 in conference contests. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m., at Finley Stadium.
