Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Tuesday, October 4, 2022

A motorcycle struck a deer in the 4300 block of University Drive. The driver sustained minor injuries. 

A traffic stop in the 9300 block of Apison Pike resulted in the occupant being charged with being in possession of illegal narcotics. 

A homeowner in the West District reported that their mailbox had been seriously damaged in a crash that had occurred two days prior. Their doorbell camera showed that it had been a mail delivery driver. The officer was able to identify the driver, who was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. 

Officers made contact with two homeless individuals allegedly staying under the drive through of an out of business West District bank. The individuals were checked for warrants and advised they would be moving on. 

An individual reported damage to their vehicle while it had been parked on the campus of Southern Adventist University. 

Three Collegedale fugitives were arrested and booked on their warrants. 

A traffic stop in the 9000 block of Lee Highway resulted in an individual being arrested on a Bradley County warrant. A Bradley County sheriff’s deputy responded and took custody of the individual for transport back to their jail. 

A traffic stop in the 9300 block of Lee Highway led to the driver being charged with driving on a suspended license. 

While conducting routine business checks an officer located two homeless individuals sleeping under the drive through of an out of business West District bank. The officer advised them to collect their things and to leave the private property. 

A traffic stop in the 9700 block of Apison Pike resulted in the driver being charged with driving on a suspended license.
