Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Wednesday, September 28, 2022

Five Collegedale fugitives were booked on their warrants. 

Police assisted the fire department as they  put out several hay bales that had caught fire in a field in the 4700 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. 

Officers checked the well-being of a West District resident at the request of a local hospital. All was ok. 

A wide load truck hauling a modular home collided with a mailbox in the 10100 block of Scenic View Drive causing some damage.

An East District resident reported that their estranged spouse had taken a trailer that belonged to them. The spouse could not be located. 

Officers were called to a West District gas station for an individual that was reported to have been yelling at someone over the phone inside the store and using profanity. They were  advised by staff to leave the property.

A minor parking lot crash was reported in the West District. 

Police were called to a West District apartment complex after an individual was seen looking into cars in the parking lot. Contact was made with the individual, a resident, who stated that they were admiring a Corvette that had been parked in the lot. 

An individual was taken into custody during court and charged with public intoxication. 

An East District resident reported a theft of their iPhone. 

Walmart reported a couple of thefts. 

A tree had fallen and blocked a large portion of the roadway in the 9400 block of Pasture Drive. Public Works removed the tree. 

Police assisted an individual in the West District who was having a mental health crisis and transported them to a local hospital for an evaluation.
