Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Thursday, September 1, 2022

While conducting a business check an officer located an open door at a West District church. The building was checked and everything was found to be ok. 

A concerned citizen reported a possible fire coming from a West District home. The fire department and police responded and found it to be exhaust from a dryer vent.

Officers were requested to check the well-being of a South District resident. The individual was found to be in good health. 

Police assisted a motorist who had unexpectedly locked their keys in the car at a West District gas station. 

An officer assisted A truck driver back out of dead end roadway in the East District. 

Officers were requested to check on an individual having a possible mental health crisis in the East District. The individual appeared to be ok. 

Walmart reported an attempted theft by two juveniles. 

Collegedale police assisted Chattanooga police with a four car crash involving injuries in the 9200 block of Lee Highway. 

Two Collegedale fugitives were booked on their warrant. 

Officers responded to a West District business for an activated alarm. The cleaning crew was found to have set it off. 

A Lee Highway traffic stop resulted in the driver’s arrest for DUI and possession of illegal narcotics. 

Police responded to a disorder between siblings at a West District apartment complex. The disorder was verbal only and the siblings were separated. 

Officers were able to assist an individual in the West District who believed their vehicle may have been stolen. It was found to have been towed from the lot by a private tow company.
