Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Monday, July 11th, 2022

EMS responded to a West District doctor’s office and transported a patient to the hospital. 

Officers assisted a juvenile resident from the West District having a mental health crisis.

A one vehicle crash involving a fire hydrant was reported in the 9100 block of Apison Pike. 

EMS transported a patient having flu like symptoms from a West District clinic to the hospital. 

Police made contact with an individual at the Raceway gas station who was found to have a Hamilton County warrant for their arrest. They were also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and arrested. 

A driver was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. 

EMS transported a patient from a West District clinic to the hospital. 

A West District business alarm was activated. Everything checked out ok. 

EMS transported an infant having difficulty breathing from their East District home to the hospital. 

Police assisted an employee who had found themselves locked in their West District business. 

A traffic stop in the 10400 block of Lee Highway led to the driver’s arrest for DUI and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. The driver was also charged with being in possession of stolen property after officers discovered that the firearm had been stolen. 

Walmart reported a theft. 

Officers responded to a West District business alarm. Everything checked out ok. 

The fire department responded to a residence in the Wellesley neighborhood, in the West District, after a resident advised their gas stove had been left on for the duration of their vacation.

While conducting nightly business checks, officers located an open back door to a closed West District business. The business was checked and the door secured. 

An East District resident requested police assistance because they believed that they had heard something outside their home. The resident requested the area around their home be checked because their outdoor motion light had turned on. Nothing was located and all checked ok.

A Collegedale fugitive was booked on their warrants. 

The fire department responded to an East District fire alarm. It was a false alarm. Everything checked out ok.
