A Collegedale officer, on their way into work, came upon an individual in need in the 10700 block of Birchwood Pike. The individual had been left after having a verbal altercation with another person, and had no idea where they were, and a dead cell phone. The officer gave the individual a ride to a safe location and called the sheriff’s office over to help with the rest.
An assault report was filed at a West District school.
A single car crash was filed after a vehicle struck a deer in the 8600 block of Apison Pike.
Officers responded to a barking dog complaint in the South District.
A minor fender bender was reported in a West District parking lot.
Officers were called to the Hawthorne at the Summit apartment complex after people had trespassed into the pool area while it had been closed.
Collegedale police were requested to assist the sheriff’s office with an intoxicated individual having a mental health crisis just outside the city’s West District city limits. The individual was placed into protective custody and taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Police were called to a home in the Misty Valley subdivision after an individual called in to report that their partner had assaulted them. When officers arrived on the scene the caller refused to cooperate with police.
Officers assisted a stranded motorist in the 4800 block of College Drive East.
Collegedale police were requested to assist with an armed person having a mental health crisis outside the city limits. The individual was successfully disarmed and taken into protective custody.
Officers assisted getting a missing person reported in the correct jurisdiction.
Officers issued a citation for driving on a suspended license to a driver in the 5000 block of Little Debbie Parkway.

Police were called to an East District residence after a snake was found in a bedroom. The snake had gone into the attic upon the officer’s arrival and the homeowner advised they would have a family member find it.
Police were dispatched to a disorder at a West District business. Everything out ok.
Five Collegedale fugitives were booked on their warrants.
A minor two car crash was reported in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway.
The fire department responded to trees on the power lines in the 4600 block of Pierson Drive, in the city’s South District.
The fire department responded to a blown transformer and small pile fire in the 4400 block of Katie Kim Lane.
Collegedale police were requested to assist the sheriff’s office by answering a reported burglary in progress on Pattentown Road, outside the city’s West District. The residence was checked out found secure. Everything was ok.
The fire department responded again to another report of trees on the power lines in the 4000 block of University Drive.
