Elder's Ace Hardware-Chattanooga to give away American flags

Elder's Ace Hardware-Chattanooga will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Tennessee lost 714 soldiers in the Korean war and 886 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 4921 Highway 58, Chattanooga will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Ooltewah Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Elder's Ace Hardware-Chattanooga while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Elder's Ace Hardware-Chattanooga is located at 4921 Highway 58, Chattanooga, Tennessee. This location is owned by J Thomas Glenn, represented by Michael Metzger and managed by Bill Lemley.
