There were 8 on-campus motor vehicle thefts in 2017 on the campus of The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, located in Chattanooga, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2016, there were 9 motor vehicle thefts on the campus; and in 2015, there were 3 motor vehicle thefts. In the three year period from 2015 through 2017, there were 20 total motor vehicle thefts on the campus.
