On Sunday, April 13, former Silverdale Baptist Academy standout Ella Cunningham’s current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m. at Secchia Stadium against Washington Huskies.
