The Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis team will face Jacksonville State in a non-conference match at the UTC Tennis Center on March 10. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, with live video and scoring available for fans.

This matchup comes after Chattanooga secured a decisive 6-1 victory over The Citadel in its Southern Conference opener, marking the team’s ninth consecutive win in league openers. The Mocs currently hold a season record of 5-6, while Jacksonville State enters the contest with a strong 10-2 record and a three-match winning streak.

In their most recent meeting, Jacksonville State defeated Chattanooga 6-1 on February 25 in Jacksonville, Alabama. Historically, Chattanooga leads the series against Jacksonville State with an overall record of 26-16.

A standout for Chattanooga has been its junior player at No. 1 singles, who carries a six-match winning streak into Tuesday’s contest and has won seven of his last nine matches at the top spot. On the other side, Jacksonville State’s only two losses this season have come against nationally ranked teams—No. 57 Georgia Tech and No. 42 Florida State.

Looking ahead, Chattanooga will travel to Nashville on Friday for another non-conference dual against Belmont in a rescheduled match from earlier this year. Fans can find additional information and updates about upcoming matches on GoMocs.com.
