The Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis team is set to play three non-conference matches over the next four days, all away from home. The stretch begins with a match against Tennessee at Barksdale Stadium in Knoxville on Wednesday afternoon.
The contest against the Volunteers will start at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with live scoring available for fans. After facing Tennessee, Chattanooga will travel to Richmond, Kentucky, for two more matches at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. On Friday, they meet Tennessee Tech in a neutral site dual at 2 p.m., followed by a road contest against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday at the same time.
Chattanooga currently holds a 1-3 record this season and recently earned its first win of 2026 with a 6-1 result over Tennessee State. The team has seen strong singles performances from several players who are each 3-1 this spring and has had balanced results in doubles competition.
Tennessee enters Wednesday’s matchup with a 5-4 record after splitting two matches in Michigan earlier this month—winning against Michigan State and narrowly losing to Michigan. The Vols started their season with wins over ETSU and have competed against top-ranked national teams such as Wake Forest and TCU.
Tennessee Tech arrives at Friday’s match holding a 1-4 record but comes off its first victory of the year—a close win over Georgia State that ended an early-season losing streak marked by tough road contests.
Eastern Kentucky brings more match experience into Saturday’s game, having played fourteen times so far this spring compared to Chattanooga’s four. EKU holds a 6-8 record and had a four-match winning streak earlier in February with victories over North Dakota, Bellarmine, James Madison, and Xavier.
Following these three matches on the road, Chattanooga will return home to begin a five-match homestand starting February 26 against Toledo. Further details about upcoming games can be found on GoMocs.com.
