On Tuesday, April 15, former Brainerd High School standout Jonathan Benson’s current college team, the Sioux Falls Cougars, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks.

The game took place at Bowyer Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 1:30 p.m. at Sioux Falls Stadium against UMary Marauders.
