On Saturday, March 8, former Baylor School standout Avery Shamblin’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Texas Mean Green.

The game took place at Lovelace Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Mean Green this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Lovelace Stadium against North Texas Mean Green.
